We start off with Stephanie McMahon driving into the set of RAW with Triple H to meet with Constable Baron Corbin. Triple H pats the Corbin on the chest and wishes him luck. Stephanie starts questioning Baron Corbin’s decision-making skills. She tells him that he needs to take care of business, otherwise Kurt Angle would be back sooner than expected.

The Shield make their way to the ring. Seth talks on the mic and the crowd cheers, Roman says a line and the crowd starts booing. At one point, Seth and Roman lifted their title belts and half the crowd cheered while the other half booed. Seth calls out Baron Corbin, who makes his way out from backstage. Corbin tells the Shield that him and his teammates (still undecided at this point) will take down the Shield. Corbin said that no one backstage liked the Shield, especially these guys. Braun’s entrance music plays and Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre walk out.

The three heels start addressing Dean Ambrose directly. They try to persuade him that he doesn’t need the Shield. They tell him that Roman and Seth don’t appreciate him. They start telling stories about how Dean sacrifices himself for the other two men. After Roman calls the heels out, they start to rush the ring, but Baron Corbin stops them. Baron tells the heels that Drew and Dolph need to defend their championship belts tonight, and that Corbin himself, along with his unnamed team, will deal with the Shield later.

Bailey makes her way out and is shortly after followed by Finn Balor. They are one of the teams in the mix match challenge. He tries to pin Jinder, but Bailey grabs his leg and pulls him down. Alisha gets mad at Bailey and goes after her, but Bailey knocks her out. Samil Singh then decides to get in Bailey’s face, but Bailey does a Bailey to Belly to him. Jinder is distracted by all of this so Finn surprises him and lands the pin. The crowd joins together in chanting “You Suck” to Jinder and Alicia as they finish up and make their way back to the back.

Brie gets tagged in and the sisters pull a twin magic move against Liv. Liv crawls into her corner and Ruby Riott tags in. She gets Brie into a headlock. All of the girls end up in the ring and pull off what is one of the coolest moves I’ve seen done. The Bella twins and Natalya successfully do a triple suplex against the Riott Squad. Natalya gets some ring time later in the match and does a bit of cleanup against the Riott Squad. Natalya gets Logan in a Sharpshooter, and Logan almost taps out, but Ruby had tagged herself in, does a Riott Kick to Natalya and lands the pin.

Triple H and Stephanie are in the middle of the ring to talk about Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. They talk about how they’ve raised over Two and a half million dollars for Connor’s Cure. The Revival start focusing on Dolph’s arms. Dolph and Dash end up outside of the ring. Dash rushed Dolph and lands, shoulder first, into the stairs. McIntyre gets tagged in. Scott Dawson gets tagged in and lands a powerbomb on Ziggler. He attempts the pin on Ziggler but there’s a kickout at 2. There are a few pin attempts from the Revival to Dolph Ziggler, but none of them land. Drew McIntyre gets tagged in and kicks Dawson right in the face. Ziggler gets tagged in and performs a Claymore kick with Drew McIntyre onto Dash Wilder. Ziggler lands the pin.

Ladies and gentlemen, Elias. He throws some shade on Denver, CO. He introduces Kevin Owens to the ring. Kevin Owens sits in the ring, talking about the Super Showdown. He then introduces Lio Rush to his show. Kevin and Elias ask Lio to join him up on stage but Lio states that he’s too smart for that. Kevin and Elias joke with Lio and pull a booster seat out from behind the desk that Kevin is sitting at. They both joke about having Lio’s seat ready for him.

Being the good sport that he is, Lio laughs and calls Bobby Lashley out to join him. Elias and Bobby start the match with Kevin and Lio ringside. Being a native to Colorado, the crowd was chanting loudly for Bobby Lashley. Lashley attempts a pin, but Elias kicks out at two. Elias lands a number of kicks on Bobby. He drags Bobby to the corner of the ring and places Bobby in a way so each of his legs were on both sides of the turnbuckle. He slams one of Bobby’s legs into the corner of the turnbuckle until the ref forces Elias to get back into the ring. Elias starts focusing on Bobby’s leg, using it as a weak spot. A few pins are attempted by Elias to Bobby, but Bobby kicked out each time.

Elias continues to target Bobby’s leg with Kevin shouting at him from ringside. Bobby lands a reverse DDT on Elias, and the two end up standing, punching each other back and forth. Bobby tackles Elias and both men end up outside of the ring. Kevin ends up chasing Lio around the outside of the ring, and he runs over Bobby Lashley in the process. The referee counted that as interference between Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley. After the match is over, Kevin continues to chase Lio. Kevin and Elias corner Lio and chase him into the ring. Bobby grabs Elias out of the ring, but Kevin has picked up Lio and positioned himself to do a suplex. Luckily, Bobby grabs Lio in time and knocks Kevin out of the ring.

Baron Corbin walks out first and announces that this is the first official Shield match in over a year. Baron Corbin announces that his tag team partners for this match will be the Authors of Pain. Braun Strowman walks out with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, each of them are holding chairs. The three men open the chairs and sit so they can view the match. Dean Ambrose starts against Baron Corbin. Rezar ends up in the ring with Roman Reigns, who punches him in the face. Rezar lifts Roman and slams him into the turnbuckle. Rezar continuously shouts gibberish. Roman Reigns starts to lift Ray but fails in doing so. All men end up in the ring punching each other.

The Shield remain in the ring while the Authors of Pain and Baron Corbin are out of the ring. Meanwhile, Braun, Dolph, and Drew stand up and fold their chairs and began making their way to the ring. This was a fruitful distraction as the Authors of Pain along with Baron Corbin were able to land a surprise attack on the Shield. After the commercial break, we see Roman and Baron in the ring. Both teams tag out, which leaves Seth and Akam. Rezar tags in and slams down Seth. Akam attempts a pin, but Seth kicks out.
