Pop Break Live: Judah and the Lion at The Hideout in Toronto, Canada

It’s not everyday you see a red hot band with major radio hits in an intimate atmosphere.

On May 7, Judah and The Lion did just that. The band known for their hits “Take It All Back,” “Over My Heard,” and “Suit and Jacket” performed a special show at the Toronto rock club, The Hideout.

The performance was presented by Stubhub happened during Canadian Music Week in Toronto. The Nashville-based band ripped through all their hits in front of an audience that was up close and personal to the band.

Canadian Music Week (CMW) began in 1981, and has grown into the largest and most influential media and music conferences in Canada. The conference predates, but is akin to South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.

Judah and the Lion in the meantime dropped a new video for the song, “Don’t Mess with My Mama” — a video which features the mothers of all the band members, and lead singer Judah Akers’ grandmother.
