Quick recap of last week’s episode: One of the group dates was a rugby game and Luke P. ended up kicking Luke S. in the face. Since then, they have been at each other’s throats. All of the men are very against Luke P. right now. The episode ended during the cocktail party.

Cocktail Party Pt. 2

So, we start The Bacherlorette Season 15 Episode 5 off during the cocktail party. Hannah sits both of the Luke’s down in a room and asks them to talk to each other. They go back and forth about lies and being there for the right reasons. The camera zooms in on Hannah’s face and she looks tired and bored, and honestly, she appears to be a little drunk at this point. She got up and just left while the two men were bickering. The two Luke’s ended up alone and eventually Chris Harrison walked into the room and pulled them both back into the room with the rest of the men. Chris tells all of them that the cocktail party is over and that they are going straight to the rose ceremony. The men express their distaste in Luke P. since they didn’t get their own time with Hannah.

Rose Ceremony

Luke S. pulls Hannah away before the first rose is given. He apologizes to her and urged her to be weary and keep her eyes open, and HE LEFT. Chris Harris comes in and takes one of the roses away.

While in Scotland, there’s a promo where they pan over all of the beautiful areas of the location they’re in and they have the bachelorette talk about the location. Hannah then ATTEMPTS to do a Scottish accent and goodness it was rough to listen to.

Hannah meets with the guys and basically tells them to chill the fuck out with all of the drama.  She steals Mike for a one-on-one date.

Date 1 – Solo Date
Participant – Mike

Hannah and Mike go around Scotland and check out a few clothing shops and a candy store. They try really sour candies, that are so sour that people aren’t supposed to eat more than two of the candies within a day. They go to a whiskey distillery and try a bunch of whiskey. She definitely appears to be drunk at this time as she willingly scarfs down haggis. Mike really seems so giddy to be on this date with Hannah and it’s genuinely adorable. It’s especially cute since he’s so tough and fierce with the other contestants but then super sweet and adorable with Hannah.

During the dinner portion of the date, Hannah is wearing a fairly simple outfit. She’s got her hair up in a high ponytail, some statement earrings and necklace, a gunmetal satin shirt with a navy-blue suede blazer. It’s very nice, just a little less dressed up than she normally gets for the dinner dates that she has with some of the other men. They talk about the date and Mike is stumbling on his words and he’s super nervous while talking to her. Mike admits to himself that he’s ready and that he admits that he could see himself being the one to propose to her at the end of all this. Hannah gives him the date rose. The date ends with the couple at a ‘Scottish Party’ with people dancing and playing fiddles.

Date 2 – Group Date
Participants – Devin, Tyler, Jed, Dylan, Grant, Connor, Dustin, Peter, Kevin, Garrett
Prompt – “Love is a battle field”

The men meet Hannah in a field and these two burly Scottish men come out and talk to the group. My favorite thing is that they gave one of the Scottish men subtitles because he had an accent. Nice. The axe throwing, all the men suck at this. Of course, they show Hannah killing it. Next was a milk race. Then, wrestling. The next portion of the date is the highland games. During the portion of the highland games, the men wore kilts and no underwear… you know… traditional.

All of the men, aside from Tyler, suck at axe throwing. Peter won the milk race competition, and Jed won the backhold wrestling competition. The best part of the backhold wrestling competition is that since none of the men were wearing underwear, there were bagpipes and haggis just flopping around everywhere.

During the cocktail portion of the date, Hannah is wearing a stunning metallic shimmering dress. She’s all over Jed. The funniest part of the date is when Kevin starts to walk up the steps and sees that Hannah has Jed pinned down on a chair making out. Meanwhile, Peter puts Hannah down onto a pool table and starts making out with her as well. Hannah is definitely the most sexual bachelorette that I’ve seen. As I was typing that, Hannah had pulled Tyler onto a bed and mounted him. Hannah ended up giving the group date rose to Jed.

Date 3 – Solo Date
Participants – Luke P.
Prompt – “Let’s figure things out… One way or another”

Luke and Hannah meet up and they seem happy, but it feels more like when two friends who haven’t seen each other in a while meet up again. They sit and start talking about the tension that has been appearing. Hannah brings up the fact that all of the other guys are against him, and he defended himself. Luke P. is saying things to her that come across as boastful and she’s trying to explain to him what he has to doing order to improve his experience in the house. Luke doesn’t seem to care about anything that isn’t related to their solo date. Hannah starts getting fed up on their conversation and she asks for a minute and then walks away from him. They show Hannah talking to her producers and confessing her concerns with them. It’s semi-bizarre because the producers are off screen and we don’t see them, but we can hear their voices.

She rejoins Luke and tells him that she’s trying really hard to understand him. They begrudgingly go to the castle. It really feels like she’s trying to just get through with this date. Hannah tells him that it feels like he only tells her what she wants to hear, and it doesn’t feel real to her. She admits to the audience that she wants to send him home, but she likes him and can’t find a reason to send him home just yet.

During the dinner portion of the date, Hannah is wearing a red, asymmetrical cocktail mini dress. Hannah seems disappointed with how today went. She flat out told him that she felt that the date didn’t go well. Luke told her that he expected the date to go better than it did. Their conversation is honestly a bit dull. The whole conversation is about the discussions going on in the house between Luke and all the other men, as well as how Luke hasn’t been real with her. Hannah asked him if he was sure if this is what he wanted or not. She told him that he needs to be able to admit his own flaws.

Hannah admits that after this date she doesn’t feel good and doesn’t know how she feels about him. He’s not what she hoped for. She picks up the rose. She explains how bad this date was. She said she didn’t want to give him the rose, and he made a shocked face, and that’s how the episode ended. I have a feeling this isn’t the end of Luke P. just yet.
