Are we ALL IN or ALL OUT on All Elite Wrestling’s latest pay-per-view, All Out?
Pop Break’s editor-in-chief Bill Bodkin, and senior editor Michael Dworkis team up to look AEW’s final show before their launch on TNT in October.
The podcast examines All Elite Wrestling’s emergence, and their unlikely, and accelerated rise to wrestling prominence — from a press conference in January to a TV deal announcement in May. The show looks back at the blueprints for AEW, All In, as well as Double or Nothing, Fyter Fest, and Fight for the Fallen.
The duo then breaks down the card, and predicts winners for the following:
Private Party vs. Angelico & Jack Evans – “The Buy In” Pre-Show Match
The Casino Battle Royale to Determine a #1 Contender for the AEW Women’s Title featuring: Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, Brandi Rhodes, Jazz, Ivelisse, Teal Piper, Allie, Big Swole, Sadie Gibbs, Shazza McKenzie, and 10 “mystery” opponents (some who we believe to be Leva Bates, Bea Priestley, and Penelope Ford).
SCU (Daniels, Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) vs. A Boy, A Boy & His Dinosaur (Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus)
Riho vs. Hikaru Shida
Best Friends vs. The Dark Order – Winner Gets a First Round Buy in the AEW Tag Team Tournament
Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc – Cracker Barrel Clash
Cody Rhodes (with a mystery corner person) vs. Shawn Spears (with Tully Blanchard)
PAC vs. Kenny Omega
The Young Bucks vs. Lucha Bros – Escalara de la Muerte for the AAA Tag Team Titles
Chris Jericho vs. “Hangman” Adam Page – Winner is Crowned the First AEW World Champion
In addition, Bill and Mike discuss the role one of AEW’s hottest heels MJF (currently not booked for the show) may have. And most importantly they talk about if CM Punk, who’ll be at Starrcast III that same day, will show up in AEW. And if he does it — is that AEW’s fault?
The episode ends with a discussion about the upcoming Wednesday Night Wars between NXT and AEW starting in October.
