Dead & Company Fun Run at The Forum Was the Stuff of Legend

Pop Break Live: Dead & Company Fun Run at The Forum in Los Angeles

An iconic band. An iconic venue. An unforgettable night.

The Dead & Company Fun Run kicked off on December 27 at the legendary Forum in Inglewood, California. The tour included a second night at The Forum and then two nights at The Chase Center in San Francisco, the Dead’s home. The band returns to touring for a four night run in Cancun, Mexico at The Moon Palace.

Bob Weir (guitar), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums), along with John Mayer (guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass/drums), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards) absolutely killed it. The band tore through two sets that included such Dead classics as “Truckin’,” “Terrapin Station,” and “Ripple” (which appeared during the encore) as well as covers from Jerry Garcia’s solo work, John Phillips, Bob Weir and Henry Thomas.

Everything was utterly perfect at this show and was an awesome way to end 2019.
