The Bachelor Season 24 Episode 3 opens with Hannah Ann crying, as well as Kelsey crying. You know what they say… “On Monday’s we drink wine and watch women cry in limos.

Solo Date

Participant: Victoria P.

This date is where I learned that Peter line dances. He bought Victoria a pair of cowboy boots, a hat, and a jacket and took her to a line dance bar. They line danced while a country band played on stage. Towards the end of the line dancing, I was worried Victoria was going to say she loved him, but she just said that she was smitten with him, which was adorable.

Back at the house, Kelsey pulled Hannah Ann aside and they got into an argument. There was a lot of back and forth about how each girl was wrong, and what they said and did was wrong, and I find it hard to care anymore. It’s ridiculous that these girls are still getting upset and crying over a champagne bottle incident. It’s ridiculous that this nothing drama that happened on Episode 2 is still carrying over into episode 3.

The dinner portion of Peter and Victoria’s date is in a flight hanger. Victoria opens up about her family falling apart after her father passed away. Peter said he’s “never been inspired by someone so much in his entire life”, which I find VERY hard to believe, because he has such amazing supportive parents. He gives her the date rose.

Group Date

Participants: Kiarra, Sarah, Tammy, Kelley, Shiann, Savannah, Sydney, Alayah

Prompt: “I love surprises, I hope you do too”

Demi went into the house and had people pillow fight the women on the group date awake. It was weird to see the women without their makeup on, because we so rarely get to see that. The women were assigned lingerie/pajamas and once they arrived at the date location, it became very apparent that the girls were going to be pillow fighting.

After the girls pillow fought, it came down to Alayah VS. Sydney. Alayah ended up winning by sitting on Sydney. Sydney ended up calling Alayah a “Pretty Little Princess” and that’s the second time that phrase was used as an insult within this season.

During the cocktail portion of the date, Alayah stole him first. They had a really great conversation and Peter seemed to connect with her. After her time with Peter, Sydney and Alayah talk and it was definitely catty. Sydney claimed that Alayah acts fake and is manipulating Peter, which just felt like Sydney was being a sore loser, since Alayah didn’t do anything malicious against Sydney.

Meanwhile Kelley told Peter that he needed to shave his beard down to more of a scruff, because that’s what she likes more, which was ridiculous because he barely even had a beard. It’s clear that Peter is smitten with her, and I think that if she doesn’t get involved with drama and chooses not to leave, she has potential to make it to final four.

Sydney talked to Peter about how she felt different than the other girls that he seemed attracted to. Peter mentioned that a concern of his is the contestants being fake with him. He addressed the ladies about how he did not want to be fooled and he called on Sydney to basically call out who was being fake. First of all, that was not cool of Peter to call out Sydney, and then Sydney called out Alayah in front of everyone, so now it was just super awkward.  Plus, then it is awkward for all of the other girls because they were stuck in the middle of the fight of Sydney and Alayah. The date rose was given to Sydney for being open and honest with him.

Cocktail / Pool Party

Chris Harrison went into the house and told the girls that there was going to be a pool party that afternoon in place of a cocktail party. Peter got to the house and admitted that he was feeling doubtful. After making that statement, he pulled Sydney to the side. One of the weirdest things was that as they were walking to a place to go talk, she was just walking with her date rose, which felt very forced. As if a producer shoved it in her hand to remind the audience that she already received a rose and that she wasn’t in danger. Her conversation with Peter was moot. She said she stood by her word about Alayah and he said he trusted her.

Kelsey admitted that Alayah could potentially turn on a different face when the cameras were on. Natasha also admitted to Peter that it could be true that when the cameras are on, Alayah acts differently. Lexi also admitting the same thing to Peter.

Alayah confronted Sydney and the drama felt quite unnecessary. Sydney admitted that she wasn’t doing it out of malicious intent, but she was doing it for Peter’s best interest. Meanwhile Alayah claimed that Sydney was spreading slander of her name and image. Again, the whole thing is quite uninteresting.

Alayah grabbed Peter and sat down with him and you can see from his body language that he had already closed himself off from her. She came across as desperate as she spoke with him, and she somehow won his favor over again. He seemed content in believing that she was telling the truth.

Peter sat down with Victoria P. and she mentioned that she knew Alayah a tiny bit prior to the show and that Alayah had asked that Victoria not tell producers that they knew each other. Apparently, Alayah admitted to Victoria that she would be open to all the opportunities that would come after the show ended even if Alayah didn’t end up with Peter. There’s no way to know if that’s true or not since there is no footage of it, but Victoria definitely comes across as more trustworthy than Alayah.

So, Peter pulled Alayah aside for a second time. He told her that multiple of the girls have brought things up to him about her and he specifically brought up what Victoria P. had told him.  Peter told her that her actions didn’t look genuine and everything about his body language screamed that he was done with her. He told her he had to think about it, and he got up and walked away. Peter left and the cocktail party disguised as a pool party ended.
