Scrubs (NBC 2002-2009, ABC 2009-2010)
Written by Matt Gilbert
Scrubs has long been an easily-accessed source of both comfort and humor for me, and even one of the truly unifying experiences among my friend group. With life the way it is, I have found myself indulging in anywhere from three to nine episodes a day. Not only to kill the time, but to escape from the panic and alarm of the current pandemic into the world of Bill Lawrence’s smash sitcom success.
Scrubs is laser-calibrated to the perfect levels of hilarity, cringe, sentiment and heartbreak. Zach Braff leads a cast of across-the-board underrated comedy all-stars in one of the finest workplace comedies ever produced. All nine (read: eight) seasons are streaming in the US on Hulu now.
