Asbury Park is known for its rich and storied music history. Yet, just as important to this famed city-by-the-sea’s decade-long renaissance has been its incredible bar and restaurant scene.
The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the service industry in Asbury — forcing layoffs, closures, and mass uncertainty.
Asbury Park Dinner Table was formed “to address, mitigate, and reverse the economic and food crisis we are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
This charitable organization purchases meal packages from locals restaurants, and then distributes the meals to Asbury Park families that are in the most need.
Today, April 11, the Asbury Park music scene will come together to perform a benefit festival for Asbury Park Dinner Table.
The At Home Festival will stream performances from area musicians, via their Facebook event page, starting at 5:00 p.m. The music will run till 10:30 p.m.
Performing at the festival will be:
