Scarlet Carson Drops New Video for ‘Further Down Again’

When I spoke to Scarlet Carson’s Tommy Herres last June in ahead of their big comeback show at the Stone Pony, the shredder (now on bass) mentioned that they still had some bullets in the chamber waiting for the right moment.

Fast forward almost a year later, as the boys from Scarlet Carson dropped a new music video for the new track, “Further Down Again” In fact, FDA marks the first release from the band in nearly a decade. The previous track would be the popular “Foreverless” Which dropped all the way back in 2011.

In terms of audio production the song has some pretty epic names involved. The track was Mixed by Josh Wilbur (Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Korn) and vocals were produced by Jay Ruston, (Stone Sour, Steel Panther). The track was also Mastered by two-time Grammy Nominee Will Borza (30 Seconds to Mars, Hans Zimmer)

If that’s not already enough to impress you, the music video was shot entirely on iPhones as each band member is confined during the quarantine — some in New Jersey and some in Los Angeles. I will say I more than impressed with the quality here. In fact the video looks like it really could’ve been shot on anything other than a phone. I give the band a ton of credit for this. In fact the credit goes to non other than frontman, Santino “The Misfit” Campanelli who directed and edited the video himself. Santino is also a professional film director as his recent movie BULLY starring Tucker Albrizzi and Danny Trejo dropped back in January of this year.

If I know anything about Scarlet Carson, (and I’d like to think I do) – Once this quarantine is over, I expect a few more surprises aren’t far behind.

Follow Scarlet Carson on their website, Instagram, Spotify, Facebook.
