In the premiere episode Alex is joined by Pop Break music editor Kat Manos, and the site’s editor-in-chief and Westworld reviewer, Bill Bodkin. Bill and Kat are no strangers to the Wild West that is Westworld and Westworld season finales. These two saddle up from ‘The Valley Beyond’ to talk about Westworld Season 3 with Alex in a podcast that was originally designed to be 45 minutes, but given the complexities — both narrative and philosophical of the series (both for the positive and negative) — this one is an epic journey.
The trio talk about the Westworld Season 3 Finale, as well as the entire third season. They do this by breaking down the five major relationships/storylines — Caleb (Aaron Paul) and Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Maeve (Thandie Newton) and Serac (Vincent Cassel), Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), William (Ed Harris), and Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson).
Outside of looking at the finale, and the entire season the group looks towards the future of the series. They wonder if the creative team of Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan can write a post-apocalyptic world? Will the uncertainty of a fourth season leave them scrambling for stories? Or will this be a bad ass season of robots and humans at war?
