Wednesday October 14 marks the 1-year anniversary of All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite on TNT. Pop Break’s Editor-in-Chief Bill Bodkin and Senior Editor Michael Dworkis look back at the landmark TV series.
They discuss Dynamite’s creative direction since the infamous 12/18 debacle (the show that ended with Dark Order’s poor beat down of The Elite and SCU), how the women’s division still needs a lot of work, their favorite matches on Dynamite, the breakout star, Cody Rhodes’ comparison Triple H, two references to Eugene, and the future of Dynamite including the “Forbidden Door” with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
