Welcome back to another exciting installment of Pop Break TV’s Live, Laugh, & Lovey. The crew dives into the latest chapter of the new Starz original series Power Book II: Ghost Episode 7.
Power Book II: Ghost Episode 7 finds Hormones are raging over at Stansfield as “Sex Week” (also the episode title) ensues on campus. Condoms are thrown everywhere, Brayden and Riley look like chicken cutlets rolling around in bed (according to Tariq) and Professor Milgram is enjoying her one-on-one sessions with Zeke. Meanwhile, back in Queens, Cane has managed to get himself locked up after robbing a local church, all while not being by his mother’s side as they carry out a big drop off. Forcing Monet to kill her target.
Power Book II: Ghost is the hotly anticipated sequel to the Starz Original Series Power. Power ran from 2014 to 2020 and was created and produced by Courtney A. Kemp (who also created Power Book II: Ghost), in collaboration with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (who also had a major acting role in the series as Kanan Stark).
This series picks up days after the finale of the original Power and follows Tariq St. Patrick, son of original series character James St. Patrick aka Ghost. The sequel series follows Tariq St. Patrick’s journey in his new life (away at school) where he wants to put his father’s legacy behind him, but pressure to save his family might cause him to go down the same path.
The series also stars iconic R&B singer Mary J. Blige, Shane Johnson (Raising the Bar), Melanie Liburd (The Grinder), Paige Hurd (Everybody Hates Chris), Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains), Larenz Tate (Dead Presidents) and Glynn Thurman (A Different World).
