Power Book II: Ghost Season Finale (Aired January 3, 2021)
Tariq (Michael Rainy, Jr.) will do whatever it takes to clear his mother’s name. Saxe thought he would pin everything on Tariq, but he had no idea that he planned to flip Saxe’s questioning. He shocks the jury, the judge, and those in the courtroom when he reveals that he saw Saxe at Truth the night he killed his father.
This series picks up days after the finale of the original Power and follows Tariq St. Patrick, son of original series character James St. Patrick aka Ghost. The sequel series follows Tariq St. Patrick’s journey in his new life (away at school) where he wants to put his father’s legacy behind him, but pressure to save his family might cause him to go down the same path.
The series also stars iconic R&B singer Mary J. Blige, Shane Johnson (Raising the Bar), Melanie Liburd (The Grinder), Paige Hurd (Everybody Hates Chris), Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains), Larenz Tate (Dead Presidents) and Glynn Thurman (A Different World).
STARZ has announced Power Book III: Kanan — a prequel series focused on the life of 50 Cent’s character in the 90s will premiere in Summer 2021. The series will star: Mekai Curtis, Patina Miller, Omar Epps, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, Shanley Caswell, Lovie Simone, Toby Sandeman, Joey Badass and Hailey Kilgore.
