It’s a new Disney+ review series on the Socially Distanced Podcast! The Socially and the WinterDistanced mini-series reviews the latest MCU series to hit the mega-streaming platform — The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
On this episode, your hosts Al Mannarino and Bill Bodkin are joined by comedians Ryan Barry (making his Socially Distanced debut) and Taylor Allen (who you last heard in our Mando & Music mini-series). In this laugh-filled romp they discuss the first two episodes of the series — and it’s quickly discovered Taylor did not watch the second episode so the guys have him guess the plot of that episode.
Shenanigans aside, they talk about the role of John Walker as Captain America, the series tackling the issue of race and discrimination (please check out Pop Break’s Blerd Watchers for an excellent breakdown of this topic) as well as the longevity of the series.
