Welcome back to The Way Too Early Oscar Podcast! Marisa Carpico and Matt Taylor return to check in on the state of the Oscar race. The Way Too Early Oscar Podcast: NYFF 2021 & The State of the Oscar Race: In the second episode of the new season and hosts Marisa Carpico and Matt Taylor are talking about all things Oscar. First and foremost, the big discussion centers around the annual New York Film Festival. Films discussed from the festival include: Joel Cohen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth (starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand), Power of the Dog, The Lost Daughter, C’Mon C’Mon and Pedro Almodovar’s Parallel Mothers.
