TOOL made its triumphant return to the City of Brotherly Love on February 20, 2002 as a part of its restarted ‘Fear Inoculum’ tour that was brought to a halt in March 2020 (for obvious reasons).

The tour stop at The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on February was the first time the band performed in the city since November 2019 when the band tour with Killing Joke. This tour and the current tour, which runs across the United States through March and Europe in April and May, are in support of the band’s 2019 release, Fear Inoculum, their first album since 2001’s Lateralus. This summer the band will headline the vaunted Bonnaroo Festival.

The band performed an absolutely tremendous set with intoxicating visuals and a performance filled with new cuts from Inoculum as well as TOOL classics.

Opening for Tool was The Acid Helps which features members of Tool, Mastodon and Primus and Blonde Redhead.
