Don’t forget to check out these previous episodes:

Best Original Song and Best Original Score: Marisa Carpico (Film Editor at ThePopBreak.com) and Matt Taylor kick off their annual Oscar category breakdowns with two of the most consistently chaotic groups of nominees: Best Original Song and Best Original Score.

In the Song Category, they praise Billie Eilish’s work for No Time to Die, dare to talk about Encanto’s Bruno and wonder how far Diane Warren will go to finally win her long overdue Oscar.

For Score, the pair begin their multi-episode praise of Dune, complain about the catch-22 of loving Nicholas Britell but hating Don’t Look Up and laude the subtle homages of the Parallel Mothers score.

2022 SAG Award Nominations: Hosts Marisa Carpico and Matt Taylor dissect the absolutely bonkers Screen Actors Guild nominations. Marisa feels personally responsible for Kristen Stewart’s big snub and Matt embraces the chaos. Plus they discuss the prospect of the return of the dreaded Oscar host.

The Last Releases of 2021: Marisa Carpico and Matt Taylor return to wrap up the final Oscar contenders for the year. They finally talk about West Side Story,  discuss the not so subtle message of Don’t Look Up and marvel at what a revelation The Matrix Resurrections is. They also talk Nightmare Alley, Netflix’s The Lost Daughter and many more.
