Don’t forget to check out our other podcast: And The Winner Still Is… a retrospective Oscar podcast hosted by Marisa Carpico (Film Editor at ThePopBreak.com) and Matt Taylor.

In today’s episode, Marisa and Matt talk about the boys. It’s their Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor breakdown! From Andrew Garfield’s theater-kid-energy to Will Smith’s attempt at getting a career Oscar, find out what they think of the nominees (and which actors they would have liked to see make the cut).

This year, the nominees for Best Actor are Will Smith for King Richard, Javier Bardem for Being the Ricardos, Andrew Garfield for Tick…Tick…BOOM!, Benedict Cumberbatch for The Power of the Dog and Denzel Washington for The Tragedy of Macbeth.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actor are J.K. Simmons for Being the Ricardos, Troy Kotsur for CODA, Ciaran Hinds for Belfast, and Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jesse Plemons both for The Power of the Dog.

Check back tomorrow for our Actress showcase episode.
