Welcome to TV Break, where Pop Break’s Podcasts Editor Alex Marcus is joined by editor-in-chief Bill Bodkin, and TV Columnist Josh Sarnecky to talk about the happenings in television.

Here’s the format of the show:

Streaming Wars – Alex, Bill, and Josh pick a streamer they think “won the month” based on new shows airing/upcoming shows announced etc. This month, the guys all voted unanimously for AppleTV Plus thanks to its landmark MLB deal, its landmark Best Picture victory at the Oscars, and its increasingly impressive list of current and future series packed with talent in front of and behind the camera

News Break – Alex, Bill, and Josh discuss the absolute avalanche of new TV content hitting streamer and streamer adjacent networks this spring. They discuss the true crime and scammers, the famous people who didn’t commit crimes, the IP-driven and sequel series, book adaptations, the returning favorites, and the brand new series all hitting the airwaves before June 1st. All 57 of them!

New Series Spotlight – Alex, Bill, and Josh watched Will Smith’s spy thriller Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman, Kristen Scott Thomas, Olivia Cooke, and Jack Lowden. Check out the first two episodes now streaming on AppleTV Plus.
