Our favorite true-crime trio is back with Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building Season 2! And if you were worried this season may not live up, you’re in for a treat because the group is just as charming as ever.

The first episode picks up where last season left off: with Steve Martin’s Charles, Martin Short’s Oliver, and Selena Gomez’s Mabel all arrested for a crime they didn’t commit, the murder of landlord Bunny (Jayne Houdyshell, Little Women). People all over the internet are buzzing about the latest crime at the Arconia, with Mabel fans even trending #BloodyMabel and Cinda Canning (Tina Fey, 30 Rock) starting her own podcast called “Only Murderers in the Building.” Classy.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 brings many more surprises, and new faces, to the crew. For one, Brazzos is getting a reboot, meaning Charles’ career is finally picking back up. The cast is even more star-studded this time around, starring Amy Schumer as herself (and as someone who approaches Oliver with the desire to turn the podcast Only Murders in the Building into a TV series…) and Cara Delevingne as Alice, an artist who wants to recruit Mabel into working at the gallery. The trio are clearly getting up to a lot on their own, but they all decide that they need to clear their names and a second season of their hit podcast is the way to do it.

This brings with it tons of humor and even more mystery, just like in the first season. Mabel doesn’t know what happened the night of Bunny’s death either, just that Bunny was stabbed with Mabel’s knitting needle and that Bunny uttered a few things before she was truly gone: “14” and “Savage.” Turns out, the “Savage” is in fact related to Charles and connects to a million dollar painting in Bunny’s room – one that definitely ties to Bunny’s death, and one we discover more and more about as it’s passed around the Arconia and used to potentially frame our true-crime trio even further.

Charles, Oliver, and Mabel are dynamic and exciting as ever, and Martin, Short, and Gomez are all electric on screen, in scenes with one another or not. The group is slowly cracking into this case, from investigating Bunny’s place to listening to a talking bird to following up on loose ends like the history behind the painting, but we’re only just beginning. So much is yet to come, from seeing the sparks between Mabel and Alice to exploring the new residents of the Arconia. One thing is certain: this is one murder in the building that will have a lot of secrets, twists, and maybe an even more unbelievable ending than the first.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Premiere is now streaming on Hulu.
