Time flies, doesn’t it?

It feels like yesterday that Ross Lynch — who struck initial fame on Disney Channel’s hit series Austin & Ally — was playing to sold-out crowds with his band R5.

Well, the name of the band may have changed, but Ross Lynch and his brother Rocky Lynch are still seeing a million faces and rocking them all.

Since 2018, the Lynch brothers have been performing as The Driver Era. On September 16, they will be dropping their third album of killer alt-pop tracks entitled Summer Mixtape. The album includes the Rolling Stone endorsed single “Keep Moving Forward” featuring Nikka Costa and the brand new summertime single, “Malibu.” To commemorate the new single, the brothers dropped the video for “Malibu” which was shot and edited by director Tate Warner.

‘Malibu’ is about reminiscing on experiences in the best locations,” the band stated in a press release. “It’s about getting away. It’s the spontaneous trip you take with someone — maybe you knew them before, or maybe you’re meeting them for the first time.”

If you want to hear some of the new tunes from Driver Era’s Summer Mixtape, why not check them out on their world tour? They recently crushed it in our backyard at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey and will be hitting Philadelphia this Saturday.
