The Socially Distanced Podcast is a podcast hosted by two pop culture obsessed dads who were stuck in quarantine and decided to take their Facebook messenger conversations and turn them into a podcast…and then bring a friend and pop culture obsessed mom a long for the ride!

Join hosts Al Mannarino, Bill Bodkin and Amanda Rivas as they discuss everything in the world movies, music, sports, television and pop culture — everything keeping them sane in this time of socially distancing. This podcast is powered by ThePopBreak.com.

t’s the final review episode of 2022!  (Don’t worry we’ve got three more episodes this year!)

Hosts Amanda Rivas and Bill Bodkin are joined by “Socially Distanced Hall of Famer” Ben Murchison to dive into the new world of LucasFilm properties.

They begin the episode discussing the trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (aka Indiana Jones 5). They discuss their hopes and fears about the fifth (and probably final) Indy film. The film premieres June 30, 20223 and stars Harrison Ford, Madds Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook and the returning John Rhys-Davies. James Mangold directs.

Willow, the new Disney+ series, is the main subject of the podcast and the trio have a lot of feelings about the show — and not all of them are positive. They talk about the tonal issues, the lack of engaging characters, and the directionlessness of the first three episodes. Yet, not all hope is lost as they discuss some of their favorite performances, the gorgeous cinematography and all the potential series.

Willow was released on November 29, 2022 and stars Warwick Davis, Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Joanne Whalley, Erin Kellyman, Amar Chada-Patel, Tony Revolori, Annabelle Davis, Dempsey Bryck and Ralph Ineson. pop
