Goddesses of War Returns + Introduces the D365 Cup

When you think of wrestling in the Northeast, you think of the many great promotions like Wrestle Pro, Warriors of Wrestling, Maryland Championship Wrestling … and New Jersey’s Titan Championship Wrestling.

On February 25th, Titan Championship Wrestling brings back their all-women’s show Goddesses of War for the first time in over a year. This time it is an all-female show — from the talent, the commentators, the referees, and the ring announcers.

“It’s a great feeling to be in that atmosphere with so many talented women”, Amanda “The Amazon,” one of the wrestlers on this weekend’s show said.

The D365 Cup has four fatal four-way matches with each winner advancing to a final elimination-style fatal four-way match. The winner will be the brand new Goddesses of War Champion, as well as be given the D365 cup, which is a trophy in the form of a chalice.

“The real competition starts when you move on in the tournament, a lot of people are talking but a lot of people are going to stay behind,” stated JC Storm, one of the participants in the D365 Cup tournament.

This show is all about giving opportunities to many independent wrestlers across the East Coast — as well as Missa Kate representing the midwest and is currently one-half of the NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions (along with Madi Wrenkowski). For many of the wrestlers, this is their first time being on an all-female show, which leads to a lot of goals being achieved.

One of those wrestlers is Marie Valdomina who is making her Goddess debut this weekend.

“Obviously when girls are on fire you want to stay with them and I am just happy to be a part of everything.”

The youngest competitor in the field is Becca Wiley. Wiley is the first wrestler to ever compete with cerebral palsy. She uses this to send a message that you can truly do anything that you put your mind to.

“I love seeing representation in wrestling and I used to hide the fact that I had it, but after seeing Bayley she taught me that if she could do this why can’t I be the first wrestler with cerebral palsy and I get to live that dream every day.”

The card is as follows:

  • Bracket #1: JC Storm vs Becca Wiley vs Terra Callaway vs Amanda “The Amazon”

  • Bracket #2 Marie Valdomina vs Vicious Vicki vs Cosmic vs Valentina Vazquez

  • Bracket #3 TBD vs Mother Endless vs Ariela Nyx vs Angel Orsini (Original ECW)

  • Bracket #4 Jenny Rose vs Gabby Gilbert vs  NWA’s Missa Kate vs Christina Marie

  • The Finals for the Goddesses of War Championship & D365 Cup

  • AEW’s  Nyla Rose vs Former NXT Superstar Notorious Mimi

As the head of creative for Titan Championship Wrestling Kevin Nasta simply put it “We are here to put the women in the forefront we are here to promote women’s wrestling and promote their careers”
