Barenaked Ladies brought their Last Summer on Earth 2023 Tour to Pier 17 in New York City Wednesday night (July 12th). The show was sold out and filled with excited fans eager to dance and sing along with their favorite artists. Pier 17 provided the perfect setting – Concert goers were treated with beautiful summer weather, picturesque views, and absolutely amazing music.

Del Amitri

Del Amitri is a Scottish alternative rock band formed in 1980 best known for their 1995 smash hit “Roll to Me.” The band opened the night and filled the sky of New York with their smooth vibes.

Members: Justin Currie (lead vocals, bass, acoustic guitar), Iain Harvie (guitar, backing vocals, occasional bass), Andy Alston (keyboards, accordion), Ashley Soan (drums, percussion), Kris Dollimore (guitar, backing vocals, occasional bass).

Five for Fighting

Five for Fighting aka John Ondrasik is an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Five for Fighting played everyone’s favorites (including their 2001 anthem, ‘Superman (It’s Not Easy)’) and even helped warmed up the crowds voices (with a mini vocal lesson) for the night. A beautiful Ukraine tribute song, ‘Can One Man Save the World’ was played with moving images from the collaborative performance Five for Fighting played on a trip to Ukraine with the Ukrainian Orchestra.

Barenaked Ladies

Barenaked Ladies is a Canadian rock band formed in 1988. They brought to the stage their signature sounds and humor. Fans were singing along, laughing, dancing and overall just ‘Lovin’ Life’.
