Our Last Premium Live Event of the Year: Survivor Series 2023 Predictions

Tonight the last premium live event of the year takes place in Chicago, Illinois. There will be two WarGames matches as well as two championship matches and for the sake of the Chicago fan base a CM Punk WWE return in his hometown. So with all that being said let’s predict Survivor Series.

Dragon Lee (replacing Carlito) vs. Santos Escobar: Escobar is going to be an amazing heel. He has done amazing work with this feud with Mysterio that will hopefully pay off in a huge singles match at the show of shows next April. For Escobar to fully embrace this heel turn he has to win this match.

Winner: Santos Escobar

WWE Intercontinental Chanpionship: Gunther vs The Miz: When this feud first started I was not sold on it and hated the idea of Miz facing off with Gunther. However, after the promo this past Monday I am completely sold. Miz is an excellent character that can cater between a baby face and a heel and Gunther is on such a war path right now that he cannot be stopped. Sadly it will be until 2024 till Gunther loses his Intercontinental title.

Winner: “And Still” Gunther

WWE Women’s World Title: Rhea Ripley vs Zoey Stark: To be honest, I am really not invested in this feud Ripley is going to win probably with outside interference.

Winner: “And Still” Rhea Ripley

Women’s War Games: Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch vs Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane: This match is going to rule. Sky holds the record of being the only female that has been in every single Women’s War Games match. Usually one heel team will win and one baby face team will win, and since the newly formed Damage CTRL needs some momentum they will pick up the win.

Winners: Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane

Men’s War Games: JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Drew McIntrye vs Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes:

I think this is where we see McDonagh really shine within Judgement Day. He will be the true star of the Judgement Day team to prove to Priest why he is truly a member of his team. McIntrye will turn his back on his team halfway through the match because he is not fully aligned with Judgement Day and he is only doing this to get revenge on the opposing side. Rhodes will pin Priest to hopefully end this feud once and for all.

Winners: Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Randy Orton, and Sami Zayn

Survivor Series 2023 will air live November 25th at 8 PM EST on Peacock
