Socially Distanced #200: The Avengers Fantasy Draft

The Socially Distanced Podcast is hosted by two pop culture obsessed dads who decided to take their Facebook messenger conversations and turn them into a podcast. In 2022 they brought their friend, a pop culture obsessed mom to the show, and things got even better!

Join hosts Al Mannarino, Amanda Rivas and Bill Bodkin as they discuss everything in the world movies, music, sports, television and pop culture — everything keeping them sane in this time of socially distancing. This podcast is powered by ThePopBreak.com.

Socially Distanced celebrates its 200th episode in a big way — an Avengers draft!

The Avengers are on the horizon in the Marvel Cinematic, but we have no clue who the team is just yet. So we’ve put together a pool of 90 active MCU characters, and we’ve recruited 8 people to draft their perfect Avengers team! That’s right everyone from Thor and The Hulk to Marvel’s Katy (Awkwafina) and that kid from Iron Man 3 are available.

This episode features appearances by Pop Break’s editor-in-chief Bill Bodkin, “The Human Star Wars Encyclopedia” Amanda Rivas, Pop Break Podcast Director Alex Marcus, Ben “The Commander of Our Hearts” Murchison, Tyler McCarthy of the Not Couple Goals Podcast, Randy Allain of Every Pod You Cast, Dan Cohen of Batman by the Numbers, and special guest Matt “Nando” Kelly of Nando v. Movies.

The snake draft features categories to be filled such as: Team Leader, the Trusted Right Hand, the Tech Experts, the Muscle, The Government Connection, the newbie, the X-Factor and the outside expert.

Thank you to everyone who has listened to this podcast since we launched back in March 2020. We’ve come a long way since talking about the rumors of Rosario Dawson being cast as Ahsoka and the exploits of Tiger King. Thank you to everyone who’s been a guest, this has been a wonderful experience for us! And don’t worry, we’re not stopping ANY time soon.
