Pop Break Live: Ha*Ash – The Hashville Tour at The Met in Philly on March 28, 2025
Ha*Ash, the Latin Pop duo, brought their HAASHVILLE Tour to The Met in Philadelphia on Thursday March 28th. This duo consists of sisters Hanna and Ashley Perez, hence the name of the band. They have been making music since 2002 and have sold over 20 million records which has lead the duo to win a multitude of awards over the years. This dynamic duo are also respected philanthropists who have donated to many causes.
The Met was packed and my first impression was this was a good-looking crowd! The fans were nicely dressed, some with sparkly colorful outfits and others dressed in country garb which included hats and boots. The show started with visuals projected onto a screen with only the band members on stage. The place erupted when the girls came out. The lighting throughout the night was beautiful with ever-changing colors.
The setlist included their hits and songs from their newest album HAASHVILLE. They were backed by a stellar band. Their song lyrics are very relatable with themes about heartbreak, love and staying strong. It was apparent that their music really resonated with the audience. The audience sang along on most of their songs and the response at the end of each song they played was extremely loud. A nice moment was when they brought two female fans onstage to sing along with them. No doubt those girls will have a incredible lifetime memory of that moment forever etched in their minds. Ha*Ash’s chemistry with the crowd was apparent.
This was a high energy show and one of the most entertaining shows I have seen in a long time. There were many choreographed moves between the two of them and even the band got in on the action on a few songs. Hanna and Ashley’s soulful harmonies were beautiful at times and it was also obvious both are prowess musician’s themselves. I can’t say enough about this crowd. It seemed like they were having the time of their lives. They sang, danced and were very vocal during the set. Ha*Ash gave a masterclass in showmanship 101. It was the perfect night and an absolute joyous romp. It was a definitely what I’d call a really fun feel good show.
