Looking for the final escape before the fall cold takes over this year? Missing a true indie festival like all festivals were meant to be? Then, the XPoNential Music Festival is the perfect festival for you.
XPoNential is a three-day festival, September 19-21, 2025, hosted on Wiggins Park on the Waterfront in Camden.
For years, it has brought together some of the greatest acts in indie, folk rock, and more, and this line-up may be its best yet. The lineup’s diversity is truly a draw at a time when so many festivals only cater to a single genre.
Starting on Friday, you’ll be making friends with the legends War. Catch the iconic funk group’s headlining set to hear the songs your parents played you as a child. Before War takes the stage, Snacktime, the Philadelphia-based soul-funk group of locals, is the ideal set to start a funky weekend.
Headlining Saturday is New Jersey’s own Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory. Coming off her new LP of the same name, it’s time you see Sharon in her most confident form. Soccer Mommy plays the same day, and she is a must-see act. Following her 2024 album, Evergreen, Soccer Mommy’s live sets are leaning into the origins of indie rock and will blow fans’ minds.
The first two days may be great, but nothing beats Sunday’s lineup, thanks to Australian royalty Courtney Barnett. If you’re not riding the CB wave yet, don’t worry, she’s not the type to judge. Barnett has been a key figure in the indie rock scene for over a decade, and her closing out the festival could not have been a better choice.
