Can’t Miss Latine Acts at Gov Ball 2025

Written by Danielle Adelaide Cairo

This year’s lineup for The Governors Ball (aka Gov Ball) is something you won’t want to miss — especially since it’s featuring major, can’t-miss Latine Acts.

On January 14, the genre-bending, three-day festival – which takes place this weekend (Friday June 6 to Sunday June 8) at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, NY – dropped their line-up. The line-up which features headliners like Tyler, the Creator and Benson Boone will see mega-popular Colombian artist Feid co-headlining Saturday June 7 with Olivia Rodrigo. Gov Ball also features Latino acts like Young Miko, Isabel LaRosa, and Jean Dawson.

Latine acts performing on the first day of the festival (Friday June 6) include Cuban-American singer LaRosa and Mexican-American experimental pop musician Dawson. Isabel La Rosa is known for the hit song “I’m Yours.” Jean Dawson, meanwhile, has worked with other artists like SZA in his 2023 single “No Szns” and was a supporting act for Brockhampton’s US and European tour which ran from August 2021 through June 2022.

On Saturday June 7, Feid is co-headlining. The artist just wrapped up his Ferxxocalipsis World Tour on December 8, 2024. The tour was in support of his sixth studio album Mor, No le Temas a la Osscuridad, which translates to Love, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. Feid performed 47 shows on tour which ended the last in his hometown of Medellín, Colombia. He has worked with other notable Latine artists like Bad Bunny, J-Balvin, Karol G, and Maluma.

Another artist representing the Latino community that on June 7 is Puerto Rican artist Young Miko. She recently came out with her hit single “WASSUP” which is eating up the global charts with 1.5 million streams. The single incorporates early 2000s hip-hop, especially with the use of a heavy bass track. It sounds intensely nostalgic, almost as if you’re listening to Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” for the first time. Young Miko will also be performing at Lollapalooza in Chicago later this summer on July 31.

While, the last day of the festival (June 8) does not have any Latine acts on the card – there will be great performers. Recommendations for this day include Berlioz, The Japanese House, Montell Fish, and Glasshouse – you really won’t want to miss a single moment.
