It’s a Pod World Episode #1: AJ Wolfe of Disney Food Blog on Her Book ‘Disney Adults’

To listen to our episode with AJ Wolfe go to Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

Pop Break is proud to present “It’s a Pod World” a brand new podcast in our Create-a-Pod series, which focuses on the creatives and creators within various realms of pop culture and their fandom.

“It’s a Pod World” will be focused on all things Disney from July through December. Join hosts Bill Bodkin (Socially Distanced, Bill vs. the MCU) and Michelle Chapman (Roses & Rejections) as they talk to their guests about their Disney centric endeavors, their thoughts on Disney news, and of course, their favorite things within the wonderful world of Disney.

And snacks. We’ll be talking a lot about snacks.

Speaking of snacks, AJ Wolfe of Disney Food Blog is our very first guest! AJ runs both DFB and AllEars.net and on August 5 she will be releasing her first book — Disney Adults: Exploring (And Falling in Love with) a Magical Subculture. This Simon & Schuster release focuses on the Disney adult phenomenon. It’s a fun, informative and fast read read about the Disney Adult phenomenon and culture.

In the episode Bill & Michelle talk to AJ about the inspiration for writing the book, revelations she made about Disney adults, Disney’s use of nostalgia and her own history with Disney and how changed her life forever. And don’t worry, we ask her about snacks.

Disney Adults: Exploring (And Falling in Love with) a Magical Subculture by AJ Wolfe is available via the author’s website, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and all brick and mortar and digital bookstores.

Disney Food Blog is a highly informative website, YouTube channel and social media brand that focuses on the food found in Disney World, tips and tricks on how to maximize your dollar during your Disney vacation, and provide their audience with how to enjoy all the parks at Disney World (as well as Disneyland, Disney cruises, and more) thanks to their years of experience. Anecdotally, both Bill and Michelle have used Disney Food Blog to plan their vacations — we highly recommend this site for your next trip!
