Portugal. The Man brought their “Lords of Portland” Tour to a sold-out Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Thanksgiving Weekend (Sunday November 30, 2025). The crow was a young, excited crowd who were their to support PTM, a band that has been at the forefront of alt music for nearly a decade.
The night opened with La Luz, the all-female alt band, who played mellow and melodious cuts off their albums News of the Universe (2024), Weirdo Shrine (2015) and It’s Alive (2013).
Portugal. the Man hit the stage and the crowd was ready to go. The band is currently on tour supporting their new album SHISH which dropped on November 7. The band brought its undeniable mix of infectious hard-edge alternative indie bordering on punk sound to the famed bowling alley, diner and concert venue. The stage was loaded with musicians, and the band was eventually joined during their three act set by famed music photographer, harmonica player and co-founder of the Sea.Hear.Now Music & Art Festival, Danny Clinch.
