Pop Break Live: Maná, Vivir Sin Aire Tour at The Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday March 7, 2026
Maná, one of the most influential Latin rock bands in the world performed at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday March 7 in Philadelphia. This multi-Grammy-winning band has been putting out great music for 40 years.
Maná have won eight Latin Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards Latin America, six Premios Juventud awards, 19 Billboard Latin Music Awards and 15 Premios Lo Nuestro awards and received the Latin Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. In 2025 the band was nominated for induction into the Rock + Roll Hall of Fame — making them the first Spanish-language rock band ever nominated to the Hall.
Prior to the band coming out, they played a pre-recorded intro track “Oye Cómo Va,” a Tito Puente song made famous by Santana. The fans started getting excited as you could see the band in a silhouette behind the curtain. They proceded to kick the night off with one of their biggest hits, “Déjame Entrar.” The curtain came down and the place erupted. The crowd stood the entire time and danced the night way. The visuals were stunning during their entire set, especially the waterfall, fog effects, sunflower fields and other beautiful imagery. The band performed “El Reloj Cucú,” “Eres Mi Religión” and “Bendita Tu Luz” on a smaller stage at the back of the venue, allowing those in the back to see them up close.
The band performed for two plus hours and played some fan favorites and hits such as “Labios Compartidos,” “Mariposa Traicionera,” “En el muelle de San Blas,” and “Vivir Sin Aire.” Their uplifting infectious energy was apparent throughout the entire set. They played a great cover of Santana’s “Corazon Espinado.” This was an incredibly vocal crowd that sang their hearts out from start to finish. Drummer Alex Gonzalez sang “Me Vale” and performed multiple drum solos that were mind blowing. This guy is a beast! Lead singer Fher Olvera definitely brought the swagger. The showmanship between the entire band was fun to watch. What was more impressive was the prowess of the band. After 40 years there are no signs of slowing down. There is no doubt that fans left with a lifetime memory of this stellar show.
Cheers to this iconic band!
