Beloved New Jersey jam band, Dogs in a Pile, will perform a special ‘ 70s-themed “Dog Pound Disco” concert at The Cutting Room in New York City on Thursday, September 24. The concert is the Songs of Love Foundation’s 11th Annual Benefit Concert.
The show will support Songs of Love as well as honor Connor McEvoy (creator of Kicking It With Connor) and the late Scott Nadboy (a longtime supporter of the Songs of Love Foundation and a dedicated Dogs in a Pile fan).
According to the press release, “the one-night-only concert will bring together live music, dancing, community, and philanthropy while raising funds to create free, personalized Songs of Love for children, teens, and seniors facing serious illness and other life challenges. Dog Pound Disco will allow fans to experience the band in an intimate New York City venue while supporting a mission rooted in the healing and connecting power of music.”
According to the press release, “General Admission Dog Pound Passes include admission to the concert. A limited number of premium Alpha Dog Passes provide an exclusive VIP experience featuring early venue access, a private reception, complimentary food, a two-hour open bar, an intimate private performance, a meet-and-greet with Dogs in a Pile, and a commemorative signed event poster.
VIP doors open at 5:00 p.m. General Admission doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the Songs of Love presentation and concert beginning later that evening.
The Songs of Love Foundation, for nearly 30 years, has created nearly 50,000 personalized original songs – each of which has been written for one individual. “Every song includes the recipient’s name, favorite people, pets, interests, and meaningful memories, creating a one-of-a-kind musical gift.
