WWE Money in the Bank 2026 Predictions: Who Will Grab the Briefcase?

WWE Money in the Bank 2026 (aka Money in the Bank New Orleans) takes place Saturday October 10 live from The Smoothie King Center and streaming on the ESPN Unlimited app.

This is always one of the more wild WWE PLE’s, so let break everything down on who will grab the briefcase, and can LA Knight finally win the big one?

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: 

Competitors: Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, CM Punk, Trick Williams, Penta, Kevin Owens

Thoughts: This is a pretty good lineup for the men’s MITB match. Would I have liked an all youth match like the women’s match? Yes. But at the end of the day, you have to have main event players in the match to draw eyes to it. Yes Punk, KO and Penta are all in their 40s. But they are all still believable winners at this point. 

Prediction: I’m going with my gut over my head here. I feel like WWE is putting a rocket on Penta which is why my brain wants to say he wins. But my gut is telling me they are going to go storyline win again, like they have the last four MITB matches. My official prediction is Bron Breakker wins the MITB. I also think this is the right Decision in the end. Bron cashing in once Oba does eventually beat Roman seems like the way this is headed. And I’m all for That. 

Official Prediction: Bron Breakker

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match:

Competitors: Sol Ruca vs. Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Lash Legend vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Tiffany Stratton

Thoughts: This might be my favorite lineup in years. When I think about the concept of this match, I always envision younger talent getting an opportunity that they normally wouldn’t have to be a world champion. 

Prediction: There’s really no wrong answer here unless they go storyline as well and pick Stratton. She does not need to win a second money in the bank contract just to win the title. I think the choice should be obvious, I think Roxanne Perez should be the winner and also makes the most sense storyline wise. 

Official Prediction: Roxy 

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match:

Roman Reigns © vs. LA Knight

Thoughts: This should be an open and shut case that Roman reigns defends the world title. I know there’s a 99% chance that’s what happens. But for some damn reason my gut is screaming that some shenanigans might happen that cost the world heavyweight championship. Mainly will be revealed that there is still a leader of the 946 stable. The leader could be Jacob fatu or LA Knight himself. For the record, Jacob fits the group better but I’m all for knight having more edge brought to his character ESPECIALLY if it lead to a world title. 

Prediction: With all that said I’m hoping my gut is right. I’m hoping LA Knight wins the world championship just because it’s been a long time coming but at the end of the day I make these predictions to try to and get them correct so I’m going to officially pick Roman to retain. 

Official Prediction: Roman retains 

Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed

Thoughts: Two meaty men slapping meat. If that doesn’t get your mouth watering idk what will…..wait no. 

Prediction: Oba wins probably by DQ so Reed doesn’t lose clean. 

WWE Women’s World Title Match:

Stephanie Vaquer © vs. Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan

Thoughts: I never understood the logic of a champion attacking both challengers….it always leads to a triple threat match. Are you trying to make the title defense harder for yourself? In kayfabe I legitimately don’t understand why it ever happened. 

Prediction: Stephanie wins no doubt.
