TNA presents Bound for Glory 2026 on Sunday, October 11 at 5 pm E.T. from the Yuengling Arena in Tampa, Florida (the former home of WWE ThunderDome). The show is available on traditional PPV and TNA+.
Bound for Glory has served as TNA’s signature, WrestleMania-esque event since 2005. This year is a stark contrast to last year’s event, yet it serves as a potential major turning point (pun intended) for the company. Can you say this about dozens of TNA/Impact shows over the years? Yes, it absolutely can.
Last year’s event leaned heavily on the final Hardyz vs. Dudleys match, and the involvement of WWE stars Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams in marquee match-ups. It was also the culmination of the storyline of Mike Santana finally winning the TNA World Title.
This year, there is (so far) no WWE involvement (the sale promo code of NXT50 does give us a bit of pause), Mike Santana has departed the company for NXT, there’s no legendary name like The Dudleys involved. So TNA must lean on stalwart homegrown talent, young faces, and the potential for new faces to pop up in the company given the number of free agents readily available.
So let’s get into the predictions for TNA Bound for Glory 2026…
Six-Way Scramble for the Vacant TNA X Division Championship: Fabian Aichner vs. KC Navarro vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Rich Swann vs. Ryan Nemeth vs. BDE
Thoughts: This will be a wild one. Let’s break down all the scenarios. Ryan Nemeth is the least likely to win. Classic TNA would have him win, and The Nemeth Bros have all the gold; however, it doesn’t feel like the tone and tenor they’re going for. BDE scored his first win in TNA recently, and he’s got a large social following; however, this doesn’t feel like the time for him. Rich Swann is in the Eric Young role of being the glue of the match.
So, that leaves Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro and Cedric Alexander. Flipping the belt back to Cedric after losing it last month at Lockdown is a fairly uninspired idea. Navarro is the best choice as he’s mega-talented and a very popular underdog character. However, they’ll likely go with Aichner. He needs to take the next step in TNA, and this win will propel him.
Winner: “And New” Fabian Aichner
Ricky Sosa vs. Eddie Edwards
Thoughts: Ricky Sosa is running the gauntlet of TNA veterans on PPV. At Slammiversary, he beat Eric Young. Traditional TNA booking would have Sosa lose to Edwards, but let’s try to be enlightened. TNA needs Sosa to gain momentum more than they need heat on Eddie Edwards, who’s been with the company for 12 years.
Winner: Ricky Sosa
Call Your Shot Gauntlet 20-wrestler Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match – Winner Gets A Future Championship Match
Announced Wrestlers: Bear Bronson, “The Phenomenal Son” Avery Styles, “The King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian, Elijah, AJ Francis, Joe Alonzo, Home Town Man, Brian Myers, Trey Miguel.
Predicted TNA Roster Entrants: Dutch, Alisha Edwards, Elayna Black, Elijah, Gabby Forza, Mr. Elegance, Lei Ying Lee, Jada Stone, Rich Swann, Vincent.
Potential Surprise Entrants: The Amazing Red, ODB, a potential NXT Talent.
Thoughts: This match will likely debut-laden, but we can expect some cameos for sure. TNA’s roster is very young, and you need to give them major TV time — especially Knockouts with the likes of Stone, and Forza needing TV time.
Avery Styles will be showcased to the highest degree in this match, as at minimum he’ll get an elimination before Frankie Kazarian (obviously) turns on him and eliminates him to teach him a lesson. Does this mean Scorpio Sky is “bound for glory?” And we see him in the match? He has yet to sign a new AEW deal, his partner Alex Gracia just wrestled on TV this and it seems way too logical for him to join his former SCU partner, Kazarian. However, I think they save that for a segment, not this match.
If we’re talking cameos, this could be a nice “one last time” in a TNA ring for either ODB or The Amazing Red. Mickie James was announced for the show, and you can’t rule her out. However, I can see her future being linked to a future or impromptu match with M by Elegance for the newly minted Knockout TV Title. Not ruling out an NXT talent coming out as Indi Hartwell was just on NXT, and the sale code for the event is NXT50, which is wild.
Prediction: This is a tough one, but I’m going with Bear Bronson winning. This definitely plays into the main event result, as he makes a more natural opponent for Leon Slater, and then he’ll make one hell of a world champion.
Moose’s Open Challenge
Thoughts: On the go-home episode of television, Moose laid out an open challenge and “Platinum” Max Caster has answered the challenge. On one hand, is this a battle of the two of the most annoying people on social media? 100%. Is this also a really good (potential) signing for TNA? 100%. Max Caster has charisma and can get over wherever he goes on the mic. He can easily be a top guy in the company, which desperately needs new top guys. Now, the big questions are — does Caster beat Moose clean? Who’s the heel here? Does Moose need to continually be protected in TNA? One has to wonder if Caster is joined by someone else (Bowens?) to help him in his match with Moose.
Prediction: Yo … listen! Max Caster for the W.
TNA Knockouts World Championship: Xia Brookside (c) vs. Indi Hartwell
Special Guest Referee: Mickie James
Thoughts: Indi Hartwell has been with TNA since April 2025, and it feels like her entire run has been “When will she win the big one?” This will not be a technical masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, so they’ll need to lean into shenanigans (somehow with the Elegance Brand who’ve been sorta feuding with Indi for a long time). Given that Indi returned to NXT recently this feels all about ordained that “Indi Wrestling” takes the title as Brookside doesn’t have a viable babyface opponent unless they run it back with Indi.
Prediction: “And New” Indi Hartwell
TNA International Championship 4-Way: Mustafa Ali (c) vs. Jason Hotch vs. John Skyler (with Mila Moore) vs. Special Agent 0 (with Tasha Steelz)
Thoughts: This will be the sleeper match of the night. All four of these men are extremely talented, and this is going to outkick any expectations. Special Agent 0 is Mike Awesome adjacent, and putting the belt on him would be an inspired move. However, this wild one will likely see Mustafa retain so Agent 0, with the newly liberated Tasha Steelz, can get the big win later.
Prediction: “And Still” Mustafa Ali
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Kiera Hogan & Allie (C) vs. Zoey Serrano & Shayna Baszler
Thoughts: Shayna to TNA is a great move and hopefully it’s long-term and not a one-off. =n paper, Serrano and Baszler should destroy the champs, however this is TNA, so the spooky stuff with Rosemary is going to cost her former friends the titles, as opposed to an absolute ass-kicking.
Prediction: “And New” Serrano and Baszler
Falls Count Anywhere Match: SyX (Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw) vs. The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy)
Thoughts: In no way, shape, or form should The Hardys win this one. TNA is (likely) banking on SyX being a draw for them based on the love for the Wyatt Universe. Sawyer and Shaw need this win more than anyone on this card. This match being Falls Count Anywhere more than insinuates that more members of SyX will be debuting. Easy money on Erick Redbeard. Ultimately, this feud will blow off with a lore-filled Hardy Compound Match.
Prediction: SyX
TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. Leon Slater
Thoughts: Leon Slater used “Option C” to cash in his X-Division Title to challenge Nemeth for the World Title. The result of this match has some implications for Slater’s future. If he loses outright, then that means he is D-O-N-E with TNA, and likely headed to WWE. However, winning the title doesn’t guarantee he’ll stick around long-term either. With the Call Your Shot opportunity, last year we saw Kazarian cash in and defeat Mike Santana, who had only one title match. That was terrible creative, by the way. The same could happen here, whether it’s after Slater wins or shortly down the road. Regardless of Slater’s future, TNA should bet on the youth and put the belt on the very popular high flyer. He’ll have natural opponents in Bear Bronson, AJ Francis, Eddie Edwards and Moose. It’s a fresh move, as Nemeth as the top guy feels more like a placeholder than a creative decision.
Winner: “And new” Leon Slater.
