POP-BREAK LIVE: THE GO-GO’S AT THE STONE PONY SUMMERSTAGE
On August 14th, The Go-Go’s rocked The Stone Pony’s Summerstage in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The all female rock band have been making music and playing shows since 1978 and are now GOing GOing Gone on their Farewell Tour. The Go-Go’s created a new trend for women music, with all five female members playing their own instruments and writing their own music.
Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock and Kathy Valentine are role models to a generation of girls who just wanted to rock out and have fun. The Go-Go’s played an awesome show, bringing back hit favorites like “Vacation,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” and “We Got The Beat.”
Opening for The Go-Go’s were the amazing indie outfit Best Coast.
