This Sunday, October 1, FOX answers the age old question – “If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call?”
The answer is — Craig Robinson and Adam Scott.
The comedic do star in Ghosted, which premieres as part of FOX’s popular Sunday night comedy block. Scott (Parks & Recreation) plays Max Jennifer, “a genius true believer,” a former Harvard professor whose wife was abducted by aliens. Robinson (The Office) plays Leroy Wright a former LAPD officer turned mall cop. The two are recruited to join The Bureau Underground to investigate a series of “unexplainable” activities in Los Angeles. However, these events could be much more sinister than anyone can expect.
The series also stars Ally Walker (The Profiler, Sons of Anarchy, Colony) as Captain Ava Lafrey, a no-nonsense former Air Force test pilot, who heads up the Bureau Underground. The series also stars Adel Akhtar (The Big Sick), and Amber Stevens West (22 Jump Street, The Carmichael Show).
The series was co-created by Tom Gormican, who wrote and directed That Awkward Moment starring Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller. Kevin Etten wrote the pilot. Etten is known for his work as a writer on Workaholics, Desperate Housewives, Reaper, and Ed.
At San Diego Comic Con, Pop Break caught up with Adam Scott, Craig Robinson, and Ally Walker. The trio talked about the premise of the new FOX series, their own belief in ghosts, and their fandom of the iconic supernatural series, The X-Files.
Ghosted airs Sunday October 1 at 10 p.m. on FOX
