Pop Break Live: Delta Rae at World Cafe in Philadelphia
Delta Rae played Philadelphia’s World Cafe Live on Friday May 3rd. This was the second stop on their new tour which runs through the Fall. Local radio station WXPN was an early supporter of the band so it came as no surprise that this venue was absolutely packed with fans from the Tri-State area.
The band has kept busy since the release of their latest work(EP), A Long and Happy Life and The Black Bird Sessions, both released in 2017. Their fans must have been thrilled when the band recently announced that 7 new songs were on their way. Philly got to hear a few which included “Heart Won’t Break,””One Good Cry” and “You Can Tell him” and boy did the crowd respond!
Delta Rae honestly has their very own unique sound. It’s country with a bit of rock,soul and americana yet they sound like no one. Their harmonies are out of this world, their energy/emotion produced at their shows is just flat our crazy but the best part is you’ll leave with a happy heart.
