Flatbush Zombies, the hip hop trio comprised of Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick Arc Elliott have always been known for their charismatic live performances.
On Halloween night, the trio took things to a whole other level with their first annual “Freek Show” at Brooklyn Steel.
Freek Show was a super high-energy, vibrant stage concert and wrestling event rolled into one big Halloween bash.
The group is no strangers to wrestling. The group put out the wild video for “New World Order” which featured current WWE wrestler Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and the group in a backyard wrestling match. Flatbush Zombies took things to the next level with their Flatbush Championship Wrestling 24/7 Title Match. A play on the WWE’s 24/7 Title (which the group had a replica of), this “match” saw the group in costume brawl all over Brooklyn Steel.
“Freek Show” featured music of course too. Eric the Architect spun a complete instrumental set and was later joined by Zombie Juice and Meechy Darko for a full Flatbush Zombies set.
The band was in full costume with an amazing Joker and Fro-Zone costumes. The audience was encouraged to dress up — especially with a $1000 costume contest being held.
Flatbush Zombies created something really special on Halloween night, and let’s hope they continue this tradition for years to come.
