King Princess, also known as pop singer-songwriter Mikaela Straus, continued her ‘Cheap Queen Tour’ in Royal Oak, Michigan at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. It’s been quite a few months for the artist as she recently performed on the November 23, Will Ferrell hosted episode of Saturday Night Live and was tapped to go on Harry Styles’ European tour this year.
The show started off with opener Kilo Kish, who mixes art pop, experimental hip hop, and psychedelic pop together to create something totally new. Next, right before King Princess hit the stage a drag queen came out to get the crowd hyped up, lip synching to songs like Jessie J’s “Domino.”
King Princess then confidently took the stage with unique and beautiful stage design. She captivated the crowd with songs like “Prophet,” “Cheap Queen,” “Hit the Back,” “1950,” and “Talia.” Her high energy and engaging stage presence gave the audience an exciting and memorable experience.
