Socially Distanced returns to a galaxy far, far away as they review Ahsoka Episode 7 ‘Dreams and Madness.’
The Socially Distanced Podcast is a podcast hosted by two pop culture obsessed dads who were stuck in quarantine and decided to take their Facebook messenger conversations and turn them into a podcast. In 2022 they brought their friend, a pop culture-obsessed mom to the show, and things got even better!
Join hosts Al Mannarino, Amanda Rivas and Bill Bodkin as they discuss everything in the world movies, music, sports, television and pop culture — everything keeping them sane in this time of socially distancing. This podcast is powered by ThePopBreak.com.
Ahsoka continues its run of excellent episodes and Socially Distanced is here to talk all about it.
“The Human Star Wars Encyclopedia” Amanda Rivas steps into the pergill’s mouth with Bill Bodkin and the “Prince of Penultimate” Alex Marcus as they discuss this exciting, but head scratching episode. They marvel over the use of C3P0, Lars Mikkelsen’s performance as Grand Admiral Thrawn, the evolution of Ahsoka as a Jedi and a character the character of Sabine and what lies in the future for the finale. However, all is not perfect as they bring up their issues with Baylin’s “quest,” the lack of emotional wallop between Sabine and Ezra and the faulty logic in some of the choices made in the episode.
In the pre-game segment they discuss the cessation of the strike between the WGA and AMPTP this past week and how it was a major W for writers. They then discuss if the SAG-AFTRA strike will resolve as quickly and if the strikes will lead to a mad rush for content to be created.
