Red Velvet Calls Out Mercedes Mone, International Challengers & Her Goals for 2025

Kimmy Sokol was live covering Ring of Honor’s Final Battle 2024 Media Scrum at The Hammerstein Ballroom at The Manhattan Center in New York City on December 20, 2024 for Pop Break.

The media scrum was hosted by Ring of Honor Owner and Head of Creative Tony Khan and lead commentator Ian Riccaboni.

The first person to hit the media dais was Ring of Honor Television Champion — Red Velvet. During her time in the scrum she called out AEW TBS Champion and New Japan Strong Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone for a match. She also spoke about wrestling in CMLL and abroad this year and the potential to face competitors from around the world for her TV Title. She also spoke about why she used a weapon to defeat her challenger at Final Battle – Leyla Hirsch, plus she spoke at length about her goals for next year.
