TV Break: February 2026 – Reviews of The Pitt, Industry, Wonder Man, & A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms + YouTube’s Daytime TV Takeover

Welcome to TV Break, where Pop Break’s Podcasts Editor Alex Marcus is joined by editor-in-chief Bill Bodkin, and TV Columnist Josh Sarnecky to talk about the happenings in television.

Here’s the format of the show:

The Best Thing I Saw on TV Last Month  – Alex, Bill, & Josh talk about a show/episode/event they liked from the last month including HBO’s Industry and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and Disney Plus’s Wonder Man.

Newsbreak – This month, they are discussing the news that YouTube has begun to dominate Daytime TV, with a 75% increase in viewers year over year thanks to the strength of children’s programming and video podcasts on the platform.

Streaming Wars – Alex, Bill, & Josh each selected their top streamer of the month. Josh and Bill agree on HBO MAX’s big month, as they flood the zone with The Pitt Season 2, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Industry and the continued success of Heated Rivalry, as well as being the home of the two most nominated films at this years Oscars: Sinners and One Battle After Another. Meanwhile, Alex stands up for YouTube after they won the rights to broadcast the Academy Awards.

New Series Spotlight  – This month we are paying off our Emmy bet, which means Alex asks Bill and Josh to watch Season 1 Episode 1 of The Pitt to see if he can convince them to finally get on board the runaway hit series.
