Pop Break Live: Claire Rosinkranz with Stevie Bill on the My Lover Tour at The Foundry at The Fillmore in Philadelphia on Saturday May 16, 2026Â
Singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz brought the My Lover Tour to The Foundry at The Fillmore in Philadelphia on Saturday May 16th. Her headlining tour kicked off on May 12 in Ohio. She is touring in support of her critically acclaimed sophomore album, My Lover, which was released on February 13th.
Rising indie-pop star Stevie Bill opened for this sold-out show and was accompanied by a guitarist. She got a really great response from her seven song set and definitely had some fans of her own in the crowd. A few of the songs that stood out were “Hahaha,” “Take It Off” and “Lalala.” Her interaction with the crowd was great. Right before she sang the song “Everything You Want in A Man,” she asked the audience if anyone had recently broken up with someone. She talked about how hard breakups are. No one responded which she said was odd as at other shows there had been responses. She asked again and finally someone spoke up so the singer delivered a red “breakup rose” to her. It was a very sweet moment. Another great moment was her covering the Prince song “Purple Rain.” With swaying arms in the air, the audience sang along on the chorus. There is no doubt Stevie Bill garnered a bunch of new fans from this impressive set.
At the age of 22, Claire Rosinkranz already has a reputation of consistently creating songs with infectious melodies that get stuck in your head and memorable lyrics that are relatable. She was supported by a guitarist and drummer. They completely captivated and energized the crowd in the intimate space of The Foundry during their 18-song set. The all-ages energy was clear, with families and their kids or toddlers having a really great time. There were children on the side of the stage and Rosinkranz went out of her way to acknowledge them by either waving, high-fiving them or just mentioning them. They were sweet exchanges that left the kids beaming! Rosinkranz opened up the show with “Lucy. She then played “Frankenstein” and “Kiss” back to back. You could feel the energy level go way up. This was the beginning of the dance party. Rosinkranz was all over the stage during the night.
She danced and twirled and only on occasion just stood with the mic in her hand. The set was laced with infectious danceable grooves, no doubt that her early background as a ballerina turned some tracks into a engaging visual performance for some. It was so much fun to watch. In turn, it got the audience joining along too. The song “Funeral” was a stunner. She got choked up a bit when she was telling the crowd about the origin of the song “Chronic,” which she wrote during a period where she was very sick. She also shared that during that period she also wrote the song “Home” and told the audience that she bawled her eyes out when writing it.
The band was great throughout the entire set and looked like they were having fun, especially on “Sad In Hawaii.” The guitarist and Rosinkranz had great chemistry on stage. The band nearly whipped the crowd into a frenzy with the song “Crazy B*tch” which lead right into the song “Allergic” which Rosinkranz mentioned hasn’t been released yet. Those back to back songs were one of the many highlights of the show. The guitarist and drummer really showed their prowess on those. “Dancer” got a nice response from the crowd. It’s a song Rosinkrantz wrote about her boyfriend Max. The three-song encore included “My Lover” and “Backyard Boy,” which is her most popular song. She ended the night with “City.”
Rosinkranz was playful and funny during the night. She came off endearing. It must be difficult sharing details about the chronic illness she had two years ago at every show. It’s very inspirational as someone at one of her shows may be dealing with something similar. You just never know how sharing like that will inspire someone else to do the same. This was a phenomenal show!
