Sea.Hear.Now 2026 has announced the slate for their annual Late Night Shows. These shows are some of the most sought-after tickets in Asbury Park as they traditionally feature local acts, superstar jam sessions, and bands on the bill performing a special set.
This year features the biggest late night show to date — The Offspring headlining The Stone Pony on Friday September 18 for a show dubbed “Just the Punk Stuff.” This show will feature deep cuts from the band’s extensive catalog which fans can help curate by submitting their 10 favorites here.
The festivities on Friday September 18 begin for the second annual “Kickoff on Cookman.” The event, sponsored by Netflix, is a free, outdoor event in Downtown Asbury Park (Cookman Avenue runs through the heart of the city). The event features Philadelphia’s finest funk purveyors SNACKTIME, Church and State TM featuring Jon Stewart on drums, Asbury favorites Dentist, the Lakehouse Music Academy Band and a DJ set from iconic American artist activist Shepherd Fairey.
The music does not stop on Friday afternoon.
The Wonder Bar, located right at the gates of the festival on Ocean Avenue, hosts the annual ‘There Goes the Neighborhood’ — a night where local bands get to play to the Sea.Hear.Now crowd and the local scene. Psychedelic rockers ISTA, local favorites Teen Idle, and Sacred Lawns. This 21+ event.
Saturday night September 13 will host two red hot shows.
The vibes will be beachy and irie as sufer/musician Makua, who will be performing and surfing at the festival, will headline Wonder Bar.
Then comes the big one. The famed Ocean Ave Stomp takes place at The Stone Pony on Saturday night September 13 at 10:30 p.m. The Tangiers Blues Band featuring festival organizer and world famous rock photographer Danny Clinch will serve as the house band. and The Ocean Ave. Stompers second line, who perform the entire weekend on the boardwalk and throughout the festival grounds), will perform as well. The night will feature a cavalcade of musicians who are fresh off their Saturday set, or hanging to perform on Sunday, walk onto the stage to perform. This is a wild night and tickets go incredibly fast for this.
