In honor of the DVD/Blu-ray release of The Hunger Games on August 18, Pop-Break is doing a themed giveaway!
As fans know, there are twelve, thriving, Sections of Panem who all supply two tributes to The Hunger Games every year. Being that there is only one winner, until Katniss comes along, we all know that the other tributes will die and, therefore, not be in any of the other films. Here is where your opportunity lies. Thanks to some very generous cast members, we have 6 autographs from tributes on an 8×10 photo to giveaway to you. This is a very collectible item for fans!
Here is the breakdown:
Ethan Jamieson was the male tribute from Section 4. He died at the cornucopia.
Tara Macken was the female tribute from Section 4. She died when Katniss dropped the tracker jacker nest on Cato and his thugs.
Mackenzie Lintz (sister of Madison aka Sophia from The Walking Dead) was the female tribute from Section 8. She was “killed” by Cato and his band of thugs after she built a fire and alerted them to her location. When they realized she was not actually dead, Peeta went back and finished her off.
Sam Tan was the male tribute from Section 8. He died at the cornucopia.
Annie Thurman was the female tribute from Section 9. She died at the cornucopia.
Dakota Hood was the female tribute from Section 10. She died at the cornucopia.

My favorite part was when they went in separately to demonstrate their talents.
My favorite Hunger Games moment was the cave scenes. We didn’t get to see too much of Peeta and Katniss together so these scenes were really vital. I thought Hutcherson did an awesome job of showing how much his character cared for Katniss and Lawrence did an equally good job of showing that the love was mostly one-sided. Plus, the scene with them lying side by side will be important in the next novel, as he tried to confess how he regrets throwing her the bread instead of handing it over.

I was lucky enough to see the movie at the European Premiere – it was amazing then – almost like you were IN the Hunger Games.
Loved the scene with katniss singing to rue
The train scene. The actors have GREAT chemistry and you can feel just how confused, scared and uncomfortably awkward the tributes felt. Wonderful scene. 😀
