If you saw the fantastic HBO docuseries Sonic Highways, you already know about The Sonics. If not, let’s fill you in. Last year, Dave Grohl featured the Seattle-based garage rock icons on the Foo Fighters’ HBO series and the world re-fell in love with the band. So, the guys got together for their first national tour in forever and hit rolled into The Wonder Bar. In tow was Barrence Whitfield & The Savages along with local support from The Battery Electric and TV Tramps.
