From Academy Award winning director, Alejandro González Iñárritu, comes a gripping new film featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. The official teaser trailer for The Revenant was released earlier today and proves to be a harrowing tale. The film follows fur trader Hugh Glass (DiCaprio) as he learns to survive amidst terrifying and life threatening situations in order to exact vengeance on his partner, John Fitzgerald (Hardy,) who previously left him for dead.
The Revenant was co-written by Iñárritu and was based on a true story. The film is scheduled for release on Christmas Day 2015.
