Sleeping Beauty came out in 1959 and wowed audiences with its classic story and intricate animation. Soon afterwards, the film’s villain drew a cult following of fans that begged for a movie starring the character for many years. With the help of superstar Angelina Jolie, fans finally got their wish in 2014. While Maleficent received mixed reviews, fans loved it and quickly demanded a sequel. As of right now, Maleficent 2 has been announced on Angelina Jolie’s IMDB page but there is no release date or plot summary of what the film will be about.
