Socially Distanced 206: Fallout Season 1 Deep Dive + Transformers One Trailer Reactions

The Socially Distanced Podcast is hosted by two pop culture obsessed dads who decided to take their Facebook messenger conversations and turn them into a podcast. In 2022 they brought their friend, a pop culture obsessed mom to the show, and things got even better!

Join hosts Al Mannarino, Amanda Rivas and Bill Bodkin as they discuss everything in the world movies, music, sports, television and pop culture — everything keeping them sane in this time of socially distancing. This podcast is powered by ThePopBreak.com.

Socially Distanced goes deep into the vaults to discuss Prime Video’s smash hit new series, Fallout!

Pop Break’s Editor-in-Chief Bill Bodkin does his worst Walton Goggins impersonation and leads the podcast through discussion. He’s joined by “The Human Star Wars Encyclopedia” Amanda Rivas, and making his Socially Distanced debut — Kelvin Kately (Dat Feelin’ Podcast Network, No Gimmicks Podcast, BCP+, SmokePit Podcast, and Queens of Nerdom Podcast).

In the episode they talk about their history with the Fallout video games, should the series have dropped episodes weekly, the performances of Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Aaron Clifton Moten and Moises Arias, the Westworld connections (since both series are executive produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy) and should audiences be fearful of that, the second season, and the layering of satire, silliness and savagery throughout the season.

In the pre-game segment they talk about the trailer for the new star-studded animated feature Transformers One featuring Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson and Keegan-Michael Key. They share their thoughts on the trailer, the Michael Bay-led live adaptations and how the franchise should take notes from X-Men ’97.
